EU and the United Kingdom, the laws of motor insurance
In 1930 the British government introduced a law that required every person who used a vehicle on the road to be at least third personal injury insurance. Today laws of the United Kingdom is defined by The Road Traffic Act, which was last modified in 1991.
The law requires all motorists to be insured against accidents for their responsibility towards others (including passengers), and for damage to others' property obtained with the use of a vehicle on a road or other public places public. This is the so-called Third Party insurance. It is an offence to drive a car, or allow others to drive without insurance at least Terzi, while on the public highway, on private land not apply such legislation.

But this is a practice known for some people to purchase insurance to obtain the certificate, and then to cancel the insurance and get a full refund within the 14 day period of reflection.
The Motor Insurers Bureau compensates the victims of accidents caused by motorists driving without insurance and untraced. It also operates the Motor Insurance Database, which contains information of every vehicle in the country.
